This year we made it to the County Fair. Anna had a picture she made it Art class chosen to be shown at the fair. We were so excited to find her work. It was first on our to-do list right after filling our bellies with some yummy fair junk food - corn dogs, chicken fingers, BBQ sandwich, funnel cakes! When we finally found it among all of the hundreds of art displays... We asked her to stand in front of her caterpillar so we could get a picture. Here it is...
She was mad because she said it wasn't hers. What??? It says "Anna Tyree", lists her school, kindergarten, and everything! I asked her teacher about it and she said out of all the kindergarten classes (including English-speaking and non-English-speaking) she is the only Anna. Also, the art teacher noticed her picture while she was making it and thought it was a good representation of the lesson.
