Potty training with no training

I couldn't have been more surprised. I was getting Anna ready to go out with our friend, Laura. We were in the bathroom and I was brushing her hair. Jaden came in behind us - little bare butt showing- and climbed onto the toilet. The next thing I heard was him peeing!! He was really peeing in the potty. He had apparently taken off his diaper (I found it in the living room on the end table) and came into the bathroom because he had to pee. Wouldn't that be great if he just started to use the potty like a big boy all on his own? He amazes me all the time. He's such a sweet little boy. I'll keep you posted on whether it starts to look like we might actually have a diaper free toddler in our future...

He's still my little baby

Even though he's a big brother now he's still my little baby. Just so I don't forget he likes to crawl into Luke's little glider and hang out. This time he crawled in there while Chris was attending to Luke and fell asleep. He looks so sweet.

Daddy had to be a trickster and change out his bottle for a beer bottle! I know, I know he really should not have the other bottle either. We're working on that...

Head's up!

You've got to be on the look out (obviously - we now know) when there are high winds in Texas. I happened to notice this when I walked past the window in my bedroom to get Luke from his nap. You would have thought I would have heard something?

Thankfully, Chris was able to put it all back together again. :)
